On my most recent trip to Vik i Myrdal a charming small village in the southernmost region of Iceland, I was mesmerized by the crystal clear air, and spectacular waterfalls. This area of Iceland is fenced in by the Atlantic Ocean to the south, breathtaking ice caps to the north, as well as the rivers Jokulsa to the west and Blautakvisl to the east.  Standing on the cliff by Dyrholaey the view is magnificent — the dramatic south Iceland coastline stretched with endless black sand as far as the eye can see.

Visiting this mysterious region of breathtaking landscapes, I found inspiration for my new color collection. The dramatic contrast of ice formations accentuating moss-covered lava fields and the way Northern Lights play across the winter sky led me to capture the magical artistry of Iceland.

A new Eye Palette in muted tones of Midnight Sky, Glacier, Shimmering Moss and Pale Beige was inspired by the deep blue sky meeting the mossy earth and ice along the horizon. And a new Defining Eyeliner in three pigment rich, long lasting, waterproof shades—rich black, chocolate brown and silver—glides on to give an edge to a softer palette. The collection of Color Luxury Lipstick echoes the colors of the autumn flowers of the lowlands.
